Hasn’t posted yet. I agree, we’re about due for a long form interview. My favorites are the Russ Roberts interviews at EconTalk.org. Was hoping for one around Bed of Procrustes.

I’m wondering if Taleb would approve of Harry Browne’s Permanent Portfolio. He too believed that you cannot predict the future in any way and recommended investors divide their investments into four equal parts: 1) Treasury Bills during times of recession 2)long bonds in case of deflation 3)broad stock index fund for prosperity 4)gold bullion in case of inflation/hyperinflation.
It sounds good to me. You might want to run it by Christopher over at his blog, http://www.scalavolpe.com/blog.html. Christopher has a Taleb-centric perspective on investing and is a professional.
You know, I didn’t even know that Harry Browne had passed away. I read him as a boy back in the 70s.
Thanks for stopping by.
Seems to have disappeared from the site now. Is a shame – was looking forward to a long interview!
Nothing yet. I’m on the case and will post a link ASAP.
Any word yet on what happened with the Rose show? Was it canceled or did it happen and simply hasn’t been put online?
There’s a link to a Charlie Rose Bloomberg piece just posted.

Nothing on the video interview yet.
